Global Refining Group is in partnership with Sibanye-Stillwater for catalytic converter smelting. The process of extracting precious metals from your catalytic converters is highly involved, from decanning to catalytic converter smelting, between us and our partners we are able to provide our customers with the full service.

Our Montana facility boasts a 150 tpd smelting furnace commissioned in 2009. The capabilities of such a furnace in terms of volume far surpass our competitors. Interestingly, mining ore is a major product smelted in the furnaces, while catalyst material is simply added to it in the furnace. With the large volume capacity we are certain we can meet the needs of our customers quickly and efficiently in the area of catalytic converter smelting.
